The 8 Principles for the 21st Century Christian- the 7th Principle

Topic: The 8 Principles for the 21st Century Christian- the 7th Principle

Good morning ladies and gentlemen! How are you all doing? It has been a while! Sorry for the long break.

Thank you to everyone who checked on us. God richly bless you.

We are continuing from the point we left off- the 7th Principle for the 21st Century Christian. How have the 6 Principles impacted you? Which Principle spoke to you the most? Do you remember the Principles? Share your thoughts and feedback with us through the message portal on the platform.

To begin the message on the 7thPrinciple, I would like to urge you to read Genesis 41:40-46. These six verses speak of Joseph’s appointment as Pharaoh’s right-hand man. Kindly take a few minutes to read through carefully.

Done with the reading?

Let get right into it…

Principle 7: God fulfills His Promises and His Word

Several times, I hear people talk about promises or Words they have received from God; that are yet be fulfilled. Many start to complain and doubt the existence of God. Others become frustrated and lash out on people of God, especially Prophets who deliver God’s Word. Some get disappointed; stop going to church and/or stop praying. Why is this so? As Christians, we know that God’s Word never fails. However, when things do not happen in our way or in our timeline, we begin to doubt God and live a rebellious life. Does that mean we do not fully trust in God? Can we really be called Christians when we lose hope and faith in God? Well, these questions are for each of us to answer. Not just to answer but change the status quo. How? Well, by first ensuring that we are well-grounded and fully covered with Christ. Then we can help and uplift others in Christ.

That is why I am here to remind you that God fulfills all His Promises and His Words. They are not in your timeline; but, at the right time. Look at Joseph, he first had his dream (of his brothers bowing down to him) at the age of 17. Joseph became governor at the age of 30. For 13 years, Joseph had to wait. During that period, God was grooming him to become the governor.

I know and understand that sometimes it is difficult. We see other people receiving the things/ blessings God has promised you. Thoughts run through your mind and you begin to wonder if God sees you and hears your cry. My dear brother and sister; God does. He sees everything we do and everything we go through. He loves us and does not want to hurt us. He knows that giving you the blessing/ promise now; might hurt you. He tells us the end because He wants us to know that with Him all things are possible.

The next time any such thoughts run through your mind; Make sure to kill that thought. These thoughts are from the enemy. The enemy sees your potential and your future and does not want you meet them. He wants to turn you away from God; so that your destiny would be destroyed. Do not let the enemy have a powerful hand over you. This battle is a battle of the mind. You would have to confess and consciously change your thoughts, in order to, win and claim God’s promise over your life. Are you ready to do so? All this is preparation for your blessing.

Overcoming this faith test, proves that you are one step closer to your blessing. Do not give up now! Do not fall out of the race and change your destiny. Keep pushing and fight for what is yours. At the right time, you would see God’s Word come to pass.

Always remember: God always fulfills His promises and His word; at the right time.

Here are a few memory verses that may help you, as you read more about this topic: Joshua 21:45, Jeremiah 1:12, Lamentations 2:17a.

God bless you!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Congratulations! You are a part of God’s family. Leave a message and let us have a conversation. God bless.
