Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How was your day? I hope you had a great day! Today, we continue our adventure through Daniel’s Dose. How have you been enjoying this series so far? Have you learnt a few things? Have you been encouraged? Do share some with us! We love to hear from you!
Are you ready for today’s message? Well, let us get right into it!
Whenever you achieve something or go through something; who do you acknowledge for your success? Some people would attribute their success to their parents, their own abilities or their friends. In the heat of the moment, we tend to look at the physical/ material things around us. That is what our human nature draws us to do! However, we are to acknowledge God first!
The most important question now is “Why should we acknowledge God?” Well, we acknowledge God for our successes because it is a symbol of giving all the glory and honor back to Him. It shows that you know and understand that you cannot do anything (or be in a particular position/ situation) if God was not behind your back. In reality, what can we do without God? Who are we without God? Most importantly, acknowledging God shows that you have subdued yourself and have made God the master of your life!
Take a look at Daniel’s adventure in Daniel 2:27 and 28, immediately after share the secrets and interpretation with the king, Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel was quick to acknowledge God. He made sure to inform the king that it is by God’s Grace, power and might; by which he was able to tell the dream; and give an interpretation. This is an important step! We must all adopt this in our everyday lives. This is a form of showing gratitude and giving thanks to God. In this journey with Christ, it is not about the big things that count all the time. Most importantly, it is the consistent, little things that make the difference.
Once you begin to develop this as a habit, you would see a difference in your life! Why? As you acknowledge God and seek Him in everything you do, He rewards and blesses you. But most importantly, you begin to follow God’s will for your life. This is the right way to live! As you graduate from school, acknowledge God! As you write your examinations, acknowledge God! As you finish your daily tasks at home or at work, acknowledge God. Acknowledge God for all your small successes so that you may not forget about Him during the bigger/ greater successes.
Prayer points:
Pray for a strength.
Pray that God helps you to subdue your flesh.
Pray that you are able to set your eyes on Him.
Pray to God to help you to acknowledge Him in all things
Pray, asking the Holy Spirit to help you to focus on God.
Pray to hear God clear and follow His Will for your life
End by just worshipping and praising Him.
Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for taking me through the day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
Today’s message is a short one to remind you to always stay focused on God. As you go about your daily activities, remember to acknowledge God in all your victories and successes. Without Him, you wouldn’t be where you are or own what you have! In fact, without God, you would have no life. Get in the habit of acknowledging God each day!
The Holy Spirit was me to tell you this;
Remember, God’s got you! Do not worry! Your success is near; just have Faith and continue to acknowledge God- for everything that happens in your life. God bless!

Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
