And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen!

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? Welcome to a new month (this is a late wish; I apologize for that). I pray that as we end the year, 2020; all of God’s promises to you will be fulfilled! I pray that we end the year on a great note; despite all that has gone on in the year. You would notice that the messages in this series, Esther’s Glory, is to equip us and encourage us into a new beginning! Have you noticed the trend of the messages? The book of Esther holds a lot of promises (and keys) to help us as we go into a new year of celebration and joy! Hallelujah!

Well, let us get on with today’s message; to read what the Holy Spirit has in-store for you and I today!

As a Christian, we all face battles because the enemy is constantly out to get us! Over the past few weeks, there have been stories and news articles I have read about Christians worldwide facing persecution- not only life-threatening instances but backlash for the public as well. That is how the Christian- walk is! It is not always an easy journey; however, it is a very rewarding journey.

Once again, the Holy Spirit wants to let you know that as a child of God; you are born a winner. Your path may not be straight! It may have curves and bends, crossroads, etc. The God we serve is faithful! He is always by our side(s), till the end. He is constantly equipping us and encouraging us throughout the various journeys/ paths of life! That is why we are winners! Do not focus on the level of difficultly! Set you mind and your heat to the goal! Everything will work out for your good! It may not seem that way now, but it is!

God will never let you go through something you can’t handle! God has equipped us to handle all of life’s’ challenges (as well as the hurdles the enemy puts in our way). We are more than conquerors! We just have to fight for what is ours! Why? Well, the enemy is jealous of what we have as children of God. He will go through every means possible to make sure that we do not succeed.

As a child of God, be sensitive to your surroundings! Be alert! The enemy is always lurking at the corner! Do not be afraid! Instead, be ready always! God has equipped you will all you need! The most important thing is that you are a winner- you have a Mighty Father backing you all the time.

In Esther 7, we see that the king and Haman came to have a feast with Esther. She then told the king what that the Jews were facing persecution. She found favor in the king’s sight! He then ordered for Haman to be killed at the gallows. Yes! The same gallows Haman built; thinking he was going to kill Mordecai.

My dear brother and sister in Christ! God has made you a winner! We serve a God who is true to His word! There are countless passages in the Bible that recount God’s Faithfulness and love for His children! If you need more evidence to believe that you are a winner- the entire Bible is available to you! Today, stand strong! The battle is already won! The enemy has lost the battle! Rejoice in the Lord for He is King! Hallelujah!

God bless you all! Have a wonderful day!

Today’s prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

1 Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

2 Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
