Isaiah’s Truths: Lesson 25: Our Glorious and Mighty King (Part 3)!

Bible Reading: Isaiah 6 (ESV)

Memory verse: Isaiah 6: 4

And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.

Good evening, ladies, and gentlemen! Welcome to another blog post this week! We are eight days into the month of November, how has it been for you? This month is important! Each day, continue to renew your strength in the Lord! Continue to wait upon Him and tarry in His Presence! For the month shall surely end in Praise and Glory! Hallelujah!!

Today, we continue the “Isaiah’s Truths” series with the last Part of this three-part exposé on who God is! This mini-series has been awesome by God’s Grace! Many things have been revealed! We pray that these posts have served as a reminder to all, of the Lord we serve! Most importantly, we pray that these posts have been helped us to worship God in a different light! Well, are you ready for the post today? Let us get right into the post for the day…

The verse begins by expressing the sheer power and magnitude of God’s voice! The verse tells us that His voice caused the foundations of the threshold to shake! In this case the threshold is the place of the throne room- which could be the Holy of Holy (the residence of our Lord). Let us try to get a picture of this! The only know thing that can cause the foundations of a strong/ solid construction to shake is an earthquake. Look at the aftereffects of an earthquake! Earthquake can be felt by many, over a large area. Buildings sway from left to right! Many of them just collapse and fall to the ground. If you have ever experienced a mild quake or tremor, you might be able to identify with this much better! During such a time, our first instinct is to hide or run because we are afraid of what would happen to us! Just imagine this, if the voice our Father holds so much power and authority that it causes the heavens and the throne to tremble, why do you think that when He speaks, your issue would not be solved? From our previous posts, we have established how Glorious and Mighty the presence of God is! He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He commands everything in the heavens and on earth- both physical and spiritual! His presence commands fear because He is Holy! Why do we feel abandoned when things do not go our way? Don’t you think that God’s words are final? Don’t you think God’s voice commands things to becoming reality? Why fret? Look at the creation story! God said a few words and it came alive! This is just to remind you of the God we serve! Most importantly to encourage you; God is doing something; you just can’t see it with your physical eyes! He is up to something for you! Hallelujah!

The second part of this verse talks about the power Glory and Holiness of God! God’s Holiness is so heavy and pure; it can be likened to smoke filling up the house! Yes! This is what make God a Superior Being! In previous verses, we have seen how the seraphim must use their wings to cover themselves from the brightness that radiates from God. In this verse, we see that His words cause “…the house to be filled with smoke!” Smoke only comes with fire! This shows you that Gods words have fire in them! Fire to cook something or fire to burn! Try to imagine this! On stage, we an artiste is about to perform, there is a lot of smoke effects on stage. This is used, most times, just when the artiste is about to perform- just as an element of surprise when introducing the artiste. Most times, the smoke is quite thick that one cannot see the artiste clearly. Yes! That’s the imagery we are going for! Imagine that such “effect” anytime God’s voice calls out/ commands various things! Wow! The power of our Lord is magnificent! Truly, one cannot help but revere Him!

Today, as we end this three-part series, it is time to assess your faith and trust in God! It is time to look within and start working on the areas you falter. Dear readers, we are all a work in progress! However, as the Holy Spirit exposes these things to us; it is important that we act and grow in Christ!

In the next post, we will be looking at how unworthy we are as humans! Yet, God is so merciful and loving! He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the price for us, so we may enjoy eternity with Him! I pray this mini-series has been a blessing and an encouragement to us all! God bless you!

Have a wonderful day and let God inspire you!

If this is your first-time hearing about Christ, or you have made the decision to make Him the center of your life, kindly say this prayer with all sincerity and truth.

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son, and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. You get to enjoy the freedom, salvation, and eternal life! Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is rejoicing on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are,

1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word, day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
