Topic: The Recap (Esther’s Glory): Part 8 (Esther 8)
Bible Reading: Esther 8
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you all doing this evening! It is the middle of the week already! Can you believe it? We are already in our second week of the second month of 2021! God has been good! The beginning of each post is dedicated to giving thanks to God and recognizing His goodness in our lives! Why? Well, without God who are we? Everything we are and have; it is all thanks to Him! We must always give thanks to Him! Giving thanks to God and recognizing His goodness, is the least thing we can do!
Well, let us get into today’s message! Today’s lessons are picked up from Esther 8. To read the full messages explored in today’s post, kindly check out the Esther’s Glory- available on our blog (Sammie’s Daily Dose) page!
Please don’t forget to like, comment and share this post and all other post you engage with! God richly bless you!
Lesson 1: Your life (and testimony) is a way to bring people to Christ!
As Christians, we have one main task, which is to go out a make disciples of all nations! There are various ways (through the help of the Holy Spirt), by which we may bring people to the kingdom! You can go out and preach the Gospel to people, you can use your platform to write (like this blog) or share the Gospel. Equally, you can use your lifestyle and your way-of-living to bring people to God!
There are many who parade around and call themselves Christians! These are not the people this message is talking about! We are focused on people who a truly dedicated to God and obeying His will! Those people live their lives full of Christ! They have dedicated themselves to God and wholeheartedly follow His ways and commands! Those people’s lives lead many to Christ! Why? Well, they have let go of everything and let Christ in as the center! Everything they do is different from the norm! Everyone in their environment will notice this- and want to be like them! Do you live a Christ-like life? Is your life an example to others? Can you say your life can lead someone to Christ?
Lesson 2: When God leads you, your life is full of light!
From Esther 8, we see that as children of God (who diligently seek Him) we get to enjoy some “perks.” God rewards His children for all that they do for Him! Just like our earthly parents rewards (with complements or gifts) when we were good children! Our Heavenly Father does the same! Serving God is never in vain! Choosing God is never in vain! Sacrificing for God is never in vain! The gratification may not be immediate or how our flesh may want it! But when God rewards; it is greater and better than any other reward we may have received!
God rewards us with LIGHT! This means joy, love, favor, peace, gladness, the list goes on and on! Is this the life we want to live? Well, I know everyone yearns for this! Well, to enjoy such quality life; all you have to do is choose God! You have to be ready to sacrifice yourself and put God first before anything in this world! You must selflessly and “selfishly” live for God! Hallelujah!
Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you!
Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
