Bible Reading: Ruth 2
Memory Verse: Ruth 2: 4
Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, “The Lord be with you!”
“The Lord bless you!” they answered.
Good morning everyone! Hope you all are doing well. We continue with our focus on Ruth 2. This will be the 6thepisode of the Ruth series and I am very excited of how this series has been a blessing to many people. I thank God for using me to inspire others whilst spreading his Word to many.
Today, we will take a closer look at Confessing our Faith. I have realized amongst my friends and family that we do not regularly confess our Faith. This could be done in many different forms or ways. In the Bible, we are told of how powerful our words are. We are told that we create things by what we speak. So why not confess your faith? Why not confess the best thing that happened to you? Why not confess things about God? This can come in a simple greeting to others like what Boaz did. This could be a response to someone or even thanking God for a certain situation.
I believe that confessing your Faith all the time means that no matter what situation you are going through you seek God. That’s confessing your faith. Knowing that it is not by your might or your strength that you are able to achieve things. When we begin to confess our Faith in every situation of our lives, we see that God begins to manifest positive things in our lives.
There is a story that I want to share. At my university, there is an entrepreneur who is slowly growing his conglomerate. He is doing so well in the business realms and is motivating many other students to become entrepreneurs. One thing about this guy is that whenever he is talking to someone he always says “God bless you!” or “It’s by God Grace!” He always says it that it has become a habit. Because our words are powerful and create things; he has created blessing for himself and his businesses. I am not saying do the same. All I am encouraging you to do is not to be afraid to confess your faith and your God. He blesses people who are ready to choose Him in every situation.
If your confession means being the only one to say a prayer at the lunch table or proclaiming positive comments throughout the day, then I encourage you to. This is a choice one has to make; just as everything else in Christianity. By confessing you admit that it is not by your works so that you can boast.
In the story, we see Boaz greet his workers by saying “The Lord be with you!” and they replying “The Lord bless you!” Both parties in this case are confessing positive things on each other’s lives. God is blessing them. God was blessing Boaz by making him wealthy and having great fields. God was blessing the workers by giving them a great master, a great job and a good pay. This shows that it goes both ways as well. It shows that ones you confess your faith to someone and the other does same for you, God blesses you both; bountifully, I must add.
Do not be afraid to confess God. At times, it might be very tough, but it is very rewarding to do so. Most of all, you feel fulfilled and just a bit better whenever you confess your faith. You can try this for a weak. You will notice a change not only in your situation, but you would begin to feel joyful, peaceful and confident.
Prayer Points:
- God please help me to make the decision to follow you daily.
- God give me the strength to confess my faith wherever I go.
- Lord, help me to be a blessing to others.
- Lord, bless those who bless me.
Prayer for the day: Dear Lord,
Thank you for another day. I want to thank you for sending your Son to die on the cross and take away my sins. Lord, guide me and protect me today. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. Lord, help me to lead a life that is worthy of you today. Let me be an example to many of your love and mercy. I give you all the praise and the glory.
In Jesus Mighty Name I pray with thanksgiving’
Amen
I am here to encourage and remind you to confess your faith all the time. When you fail your exams, confess your faith! When you are sick, confess your faith! When you receive the money you needed, confess your faith! CONFESS YOUR FAITH ALL THE TIME.
Have a wonderful day and let God inspire you.

Always remember to show love to everyone, as this is one of the most important commandments God left for us – “Love your neighbor as yourself.” In every situation, before you take a decision, remember WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). Shalom.
