Bible Reading: Ruth 2
Memory Verse: Ruth 2: 14a
At mealtime Boaz said to her, “Come over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar.”
Good morning everyone! How are you all? I hope you are wonderful. I woke up this morning very joyful and thankful to God for life. Today, we are continuing with the 8thepisode of the Ruth Series. Today we are talking about favour once again. This time we are talking about what happens when the favour of God falls on you.
Do you know that when the favour of God falls on you, he blesses you through it all? When I say through it all, I am talking about in the good times and bad times. Today’s message is not going to be very long. It just to point to you how God is loving and faithful God is.
Sometimes as Christians, when we go through trials, we do not see the hand of God working on us. When the favour of God falls on you, it’s a gradual process before it become the large, beautiful thing you expect from him. We are going to do a mini reflection exercise today. I want you to sit back and reflect on some difficult times you have gone through. I want you to remember some of the little, little blessings God showered upon you during this time. You might not have noticed them at that time, but God had begun to do His work on you.
The favour of God manifests in the little things like food to eat every day, money to school fees or water bills or even electricity. It could also be through the ability to clothe you and your family. But God is good. He is with you from the beginning till the end.
You might be going through some very difficult times now, and you think that God is not on your side. You may be angry at Him, but know that He is working already. His favour is with you. He woke you up this morning. He has protected you all this while. The breakthrough that you are expecting would come soon. But in all give God the praise for He is with you, favouring your life every single step of the way. This God is too good oo!!
In the Ruth Chapter 2, Ruth found favour in the eyes of Boaz. She was still going through a very tough time, but God favoured her every day. In verse 14, we see that Boaz invited her to come and have a meal. She had some much to eat to make her full and was able to give some to her mother-in-law at home. This is God’s favour showing right there. They didn’t even know where or how to get food to eat, but God favour took care of them.
I just want to show you that God has got our backs. WHEN THE FAVOUR OF GOD FALLS ON YOU, YOU NEVER LACK ANYTHING. Yes! You never do. God brings to you what you NEED. He brings you what you need and keeps you through those difficult times so that he is assured that you learn whatever He wants you to learn. Just remember to continue to give Him praise no matter the situation. Amen.
Prayer Points:
I will like you all to go and listen to the song “You are God” by Nathaniel Bassey. Meditate on it. And see how wonderful and caring our God is.
Prayer for the day: Dear Lord,
Thank you for your goodness and your Grace. I thank you for life and for taking me through every single day. Oh Lord! What would I do without you? I love you Lord. Continue to bless and guide me Oh Lord. Use me oh Lord for your work. Let me be a blessing to the people around me. Protect my going-ins and my going-outs. In Jesus Mighty Name I have prayed..
Amen
Remember God loves you and is with you through everything. Hold tight unto Him. As long as He is with you, His favour has fallen on you. For WHEN THE FAVOUR OF GOD FALLS ON YOU, YOU NEVER LACK ANYTHING.
Have a wonderful day and let God inspire you.

Always remember to show love to everyone, as this is one of the most important commandments God left for us – “Love your neighbor as yourself.” In every situation, before you take a decision, remember WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). Shalom.
