Bible Reading: Ruth 3 Memory Verse: Ruth 3: 3 Wash, put on perfume, and get dressed in your best clothes. Then go down to the threshing floor, but don’t let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. Good morning everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was good; I hope yours was equally as good. I hope you enjoyed the weekend special and you were blessed by it. Today we continue the Ruth Series with the ten episode. This week we will be focusing on Ruth chapter three together. We begin the week with a lesson titled “Strategic victories in Christ.” Have you ever gone through something and you said, “If it was not the hand of God, I do not know what will happen?” Or have you heard people’s testimonies where you were marveled by the way it was solved. It could be that what the person was going through seemed to get bigger and bigger. Then when his/ her breakthrough came, everything fell in place in the person’s life; better than before. Yes. This is all God’s doing. As Christians, we invite Christ to live in us and consecrate us. Once we do that, we are victors. But some battles we cannot fight on our own; we ask God to intercede on our behalf. This intercession is always strategic. God has thought beforehand all the things that are going to take place. The beautiful thing about this is that, the enemy does not know what God’s thoughts are. He has to wait until God begins to manifest his plans that the devil gets to know them. Then the enemy looks for a rebuttal. Unfortunately for the enemy, he is most of the time too late. Whilst God is strategically moving you closer to your breakthrough, the enemy is fighting against old victories. This is because he does not know the future. Is our God not mighty and wonderful? Then why worry through those trials? God is strategically winning all our battles. Do not fret. I liken this to the game of chess. God is moving is pieces (pawns, knights, bishops, etc.) to be able to capture the opposing king (the enemy). In this scenario, compare God to a grandmaster who can see 10 or 15 moves ahead. And compare the enemy to a rookie who just began playing the sport. When you are on God side, you will only record wins (checkmates). God would not even allow the enemy to get a stalemate (a draw). Is it not wonderful to be always be the winner? It is amazing. One thing though is that, when God gives us the instruction we must follow it. No matter how absurd or difficult you might think it is. You must obey those instructions and work towards it. For example, God instructs you to apply for a certain job. You may have applied for that same job about a four times already and have been rejected. Just obey. Wake up early, print out your Cv. Go through your CV. Dress smartly. Pray over the Cv. Go and hand in the CV to the company. Go back home and diligently pray. Just because God has said something does not mean we should not pray about it. Pray diligently about it and you will receive that miracle that you have been waiting for. In the first 5 verses of Ruth chapter 3, we see that Naomi has strategically thought through Ruth’s meeting with Boaz. She has detailed every single move Ruth must take. This is exactly what God does for his children. His children are those who have admitted that they are sinners, believed that Jesus is the son of God and have confessed their sins and asked Christ live in them. When you go on to read the following verses, you see that Ruth follows everything Naomi told her; and it worked out. This is what God expects us to do. When he has given you His well-thought-out plan, you are to follow it. Then your miracle will be achieved. Prayer Points:
1. Ask God to give you strength as you go through your trials.
2. Ask Him to help you to always look to Him no matter what. 3. Ask that when He talks you listen 4. Ask for strength to carry out what he has told you to do. 5. Bless Him and thank Him for answered prayers. 6. Praise Him and Worship Him. Today’s Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank you for your goodness and your Grace. I thank you for life and for taking me through every single day. Oh Lord! What would I do without you? I love you Lord. Continue to bless and guide me Oh Lord. Use me oh Lord for your work. Let me be a blessing to the people around me. Protect my going-ins and my going-outs. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray... Amen Remember, God is strategically winning all your battles for you. You must play your part to listen and obey. This is a privilege for all His children. Have you received Christ into your heart? Are you His child? These are important questions for you to answer. If the answer to the questions are no, then you are missing out on God’s blessings for his children. You can send me a message on this platform or on my contact available on the home page.
