Hello everyone! I hope you guys are doing well and enjoying your weekend so far. Today’s weekend special is Part 1. Tomorrow or next I will write on Part 2. Today we would be focusing on keeping each other on check as Christians. This whole week God has reminded me this issue almost every single. I even spoke to some of my friends and family about this issue. I feel that I should write about it today.
Every Christian has his or her own definition of what this walk with God is all about. However, this should not be the case. Everything we are supposed to do and know is written in God’s Word. As Christians, we must constantly read the Word day and night so that we may know what it says. I am going to talk about the meditation and reading of Scriptures in Part 2 of the Weekend Special.
What I want to point out is that as Christians we must use our knowledge of the Bible to check on each other. We must be bold to correct our brothers and sisters when we see them falter. We must hail them when we see them rise. We must support them when they are weary and we must guide them where necessary.
I realized that Christians do not check up on each other. Every one minds their own business and tries to live a Godly life for themselves. Ask yourself, is this right? For all those who falter, this is not a message to accuse you but to help you come to the realization that what you are doing is wrong. Like I always stress, this is a decision. No one is going to force you. No one is going to threaten you. God is not forcing you to. It is your decision.
This message is probably one of the shortest messages on Sammie’s Daily Dose. I realized this week of how much this walk with Christ is an option. So I am here humbly as you to check yourself and others. That’s the importance of Spiritual fathers and mothers, Bible study partners and Christian friends. They are not there just to pray with you when you ask them. They are supposed to support you in your highs and lows. And not be jealous about the success of one another. Because if God is blessing someone, He will bless all the people around him or her.
So I leave you with this question, “Are you on check?”
Have a wonderful day and let God inspire you.
God bless you! Shalom!
