Bible Reading: Genesis 3 Memory Verse: - Genesis 3: 6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Hello everyone! Good evening! I hope you had a blessed and wonderful day today. I did. I had an awesome time with God today and also I began a new project today. Did yours go as great or better? Send us some of the exciting experiences you have had. This episode is going to be Part 7 of “The Genesis Story” series. Today’s daily dose is going to look at a doubtful and uncertain line. Anytime we are doing something, we are asked, “Are you sure about this?” On this earth, everything we do is due to a decision we made. Someone with a doubtful and uncertain mind most of the time is not very confident in what s/ he is saying. A doubtful mind is always second guessing. Their minds are always roaming around. Many doubtful people are indecisive. This is a state no one wants to find themselves in. in such a state, you are confused and anxious. All these emotions are not from God. God brings positive emotions like laughter, peace, etc. The dimension that God wants us to look at is the fact that we must be firm in Christ. If not, the devil would use us for his work and we may not realise it. When I say stand firm in Christ, it means that you have decided to follow God and follow everything His Word tells us to do. This involves constantly praying and reading the Bible so that you know what God is speaking to you about. If you have a doubtful and uncertain mind in Christ, you are first of all not sure about yourself (you are not bold and confident in what you are saying) nor are you are of the Word of God. A lot of the times, Christians are uncertain because they have not had the time to fellowship with God. They do not have time to pray. They do not have time to meditate on the Word of God. Meditation is not just reading your Bible. Nope, it is understanding the Word that it becomes life. If your mind is doubtful, you can be compared to someone who a sponge. When you pour water on it, all the water comes sipping out. A doubtful person has so many thoughts and s/ he cannot agree on one. The person is not absorbing the Word of God. It just allows it to flow away. A sure and certain mind can be compared to container. As you pour water into the container, it keeps it and stores it. The water can continue to fill the container until it reaches its capacity. When you are sure for Christ, the Word fills you up spiritually and physically. The Word would fill you up until you cannot take it anymore. Hallelujah! In the Genesis story, we see that due to the doubtful mind of the woman, she was enticed by the serpent. As the Serpent spoke to her, her doubts grew and she became more and more uncertain about the tree. Imagine what would have happened if she was strong and not doubtful? Imagine what would have happened if woman was strong enough that she didn’t eat the fruit of the tree that was forbidden to her by God? Would this life not be struggle free and battle free, if that had happened? Today’s message is to encourage you to take this walk with God seriously. It is either you are in or out. The most dangerous position to be at is in between. The enemy can easily use you if you are in the grey area. I pray that God will strengthen you to rise up and be fully immersed in Him. - Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you! Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I pray that you protect me and my family this night. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. This is the end of the seventh part of the Genesis Story. How did you find it?
