Topic: The 8 Principles for the 21st Century Christian
Good morning ladies and gentlemen! How are you all doing? How was your weekend? Let me be the first to say "Happy New Month!" I pray that this month would be full of successes and victories; in this month, we would put the enemy to shame. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Today, we would be looking at the sixth principle. By Wednesday, we would be done with the 8 Principles. I pray you are learning from these Principles and it is changing your perspective about being a 21stCentury Christian. Are you ready for the sixth principle? ...
Let us get right into it!...
Before we get into the sixth Principle, I would like you to pay close attention to Genesis 41:41, which says;
So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.”
Principle 6: He rewards our DILIGENCE!
It is always important for the 21st Century Christian to know that God rewards our diligence. When we follow God and obey His words wholeheartedly, He always rewards us. He rewards us in ways we can not imagine or fathom! The rewards make up for all the sacrifices you made for God!
However, there are many people who call themselves Christians, but, are not willing to listen and follow God’s Will for their lives. They want the rewards that are associated with obedience to God. Why is it so? The main problem is that many 21st Century Christians are focused on the rewards (mainly riches and power) and not the work for God. Many of us have the wrong priorities. The reward will come only after continuous (hard)work and dedication to God. Like the Bible rightfully says in Genesis 8:22- seedtime and harvest shall never cease! If you don’t work (seedtime) you cannot receive the rewards (harvest).
This is the same principle that we must use in every aspect of our lives. In our jobs, at school, with God, with everything that goes on in our lives. Unfortunately, many Christians do not. That is why we see Christians looking for the shortcut to fame and fortune. We see Christians involved in gambling, theft and the likes. This is very bad. How are we living our lives? Is God pleased with us? I pray that as you read this message; the Holy Spirit convicts you and leads you to change your lifestyle! Always remember that the reward comes after some hard work and sacrifice.
Let us look at the story of Joseph. Due to Joseph’s diligence to God, He rewarded Joseph. Joseph’s reward was his appointment as second-in-command to Pharaoh. Throughout his life, Joseph set his eyes on God. He obeyed God’s every commandment for his life. He sacrificed a lot; just to ensure that he followed God’s Will. Joseph’s reward is bigger than he imagined! He became the second-in-command to Pharaoh. He has all the power, riches and things he had ever wanted. Joseph’s story must be an inspiration to us all! Joseph teaches us to love God unconditionally and to follow His will no matter what!
The principle of hard work and reward (seedtime and harvest) is one that every Christian should know! I encourage everyone reading this message; to share it with others. It is important that Christians know about this. It is important that they are convicted and begin a journey of change. We want Christians who look up to God, not Christians who desire the things of the world.
Always know that GOD REWARDS THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM AND FOLLOW HIS WAYS.
A few memory verses to help in a further study of this topic are: Proverbs 13:4, Colossians 3:24, Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 12:24
Amen!

If you are reading this blog for the first time and you do not have Christ living in you, or you have the strong urge to come to Christ; kindly say this prayer wholeheartedly;
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Congratulations! You are a part of God’s family. Leave a message and let us have a conversation. God bless.
Have a wonderful day and let God inspire you!
