Our Helper- At Our every Point of Need!

Topic: Our Helper at our every point of need!!

Good morning ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How has the week been so far? Personally, the week has been a great one! I hope the same for you as well! Sammie’s Daily Dose is here to present this message of “God: Our Helper!” Ready to explore this topic? Let us get right into it!

As a Christian, we know that God is our Helper. We see throughout the Bible- examples of God providing his Help to His children! We are also told that this is one of God’s characteristics. Let us explore a few verses that show us this.

In Isaiah 41:10, the Bible says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not be dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” From this verse, we see that God is telling us that in our moments of difficulty- filled with fear and anguish- he would see us through. Here, God is telling us that in times that we are full of fear, He would help us by strengthening us and lifting us up.

In John 14:26, we read, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” In this verse, we see that the Holy Spirit will help and equip us in every situation. God has sent the Holy Spirit to be with us at all times to teach us and equip us.

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” What can we see here? In this verse, we see that God helps us by strengthening us to do anything and everything we set our minds to do. If we have a great helper like God, how can we fail?

Psalm 46:1 reads “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” This verse is a very beautiful and refreshing verse. The most beautiful part is the second clause- “a very present help in trouble.” This clause alone tells us that God is a present help; meaning that as we are going through trouble, He is right there with us. In other words, God is available, willing to help us at our every point of need. This verse summarizes the message today. God is our ever-present helper! He does not disappoint! He is not like man that we can not depend on!

All the memory verses above, allude to one thing- no matter the circumstance you are God through, God is there. He provides the right kind of help in the particular situation that you are going through. I tried this God! Believe me when I say He is faithful! God has been a help to my family and I through every storm. He has never disappointed me, and I assure you He is not about to disappoint you now!

At times, we think that He is being too slow providing some help or He doesn’t even care! Trust me! That is not the case! He is providing the help just where you need it. Take a step back to think about the last storm you went through. You will begin to identify God’s goodness! You will identify how He protected you, strengthened you (through that phase) and provided for you! These are all things we have explored in the memory verses above.

Do not expect the help to come in a certain way. Allow God to help you in the best way. He loves us sacrificially and unconditionally. He does not do anything to hurt us. Today, this message is an encouragement to you! I may not know what you are going through! Believe me, God knows, and He is helping you through the situation. Do not loose hope! God is present! The storm is only temporary! Stand firm! God bless!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

  1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

  2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out
