The Genesis Story: Part 144- God knows!

Topic: The Genesis Story: Part 144- God knows!

Bible Reading: Genesis 45

Memory Verse: Genesis 45: 8a

So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen! Hope you are doing well! It has been a week of self-isolation; I hope you all are adhering to the guidelines provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and your respective national health authorities.

Today, we are continuing the Genesis Story, by explaining the theme; “God knows!” Yes, through this terrible time, God knows! Through all the pain, fear and anguish, God knows! Through all the uncertainty and disruptions, God knows!

Are you ready for today’s message? I know I am! Let us get right into the message!

Many people think that throughout/ during certain periods in their lives, God is not present! They feel like, as Christians, everything must be sweet and rosy. They believe that God abandons them during difficult times; they begin to blame Him and accuse Him for their pain and sorrow. This is not true. God is with us all the time! Through the good times and the bad times. He is here with us, even as we go through this COVID-19 pandemic. He knows!

During times such as the one we presently face; many people ask God several questions! “Why are we going through this?” “Why have you forsaken us Lord?” “Why are many dying?” Well, I may not have all the answers to the why! But what I know that God is with us! He never allows anything to happen to us, if it is not for our good! I see this as a time to rise up together and grow closer to God! It is time to wait upon Him and listen to Him. Not only could He answer all your questions, He would show you how to get through this!

Like I said in the previous post; this is not the time to be riddled with fear, it is the time for us all to rise up! Yes, we must rise up. God knows and sees what is happening to our world. He sees the disruptive nature of this virus socially, economically, psychologically, mentally, politically, spiritually and physically. He knows! He sees! He hears!

Throughout Joseph’s lifetime, God knew all he was going through! From the time he was sold, through to becoming a prisoner! God saw all Joseph went through! He knew all that Joseph went through! It was for a certain purpose! Everything Joseph went through was for God’s purpose for his (Joseph’s life).

We do not know what this COVID-19 pandemic is about! Scientists are still conducting research on this virus! But God knows! God knows why it is spreading out at this point in time! God knows! He sees, He hears, He knows! My dear brother and sister in Christ, be comforted that God knows! Be comforted that you have a great God who knows everything! A god who sees and hears your heart’s cry! Call out to Him in this period! Ask Him as many questions! Wait upon Him! He would give you all the answers and solutions you need!

Yes, the world may not be the same after COVID-19. Be rest-assured that God knows! He will keep us all! Protect us and guide us through it all! I am certain that from all this, there are many lessons that we, Christians, would learn from. It is only to strengthen our Faith and Him and prepare us! We may not see the end now! But God knows! We are in this position for a particular reason! He sent us here for a particular reason! He knows! My God knows! Our God knows! Do not fret! Call on to Him! Wait on Him! Listen to Him!

Hallelujah!

As we call on to God and wait in His presence, let us continue to keep ourselves safe! Do not act ignorant in this situation! Continue to follow the guidelines that have been presented to you! God bless you!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

  1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

  2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out
