Topic: The Genesis Story: Part 150- God’s Strategies

Bible Reading: Genesis 47

Verses for the evening: Genesis 47: 13- 26

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? Hope you had a wonderful day today! Are you ready to be refreshed this evening? Well, we are looking at the theme: “God’s strategies!” Are you ready for today’s message? I know that I am! Let us get right into it!

During periods (like that of the situation we are in), we try to use our efforts and understanding to find solutions to certain problems we face. This is not the best! As Christians, we must ask God to help us find the right solutions to our problems. During this period of COVID-19, have you gone to ask God for the right strategy to tackle a particular problem or dilemma; you are facing?

Well, you should! Instead of stressing and worrying, tell God about it! Ask Him what you should do! But most importantly, be patient for His answer! Do not be in a rush! Sometimes, the answer we get may not be the one we expect! It may not make sense, but it is the right one! God only gives us the right strategy! Accept it and use it! It may not make sense to you today! It may make sense to you in the future!

I know many people are encountering issues with work- someone people have lost their jobs- other people are facing troubles with their marriage, their children, their friends, etc. Don’t worry! Don’t fret! God has the strategy! He may direct you in the kind of prayers to say! He may direct you to speak to someone! He may give you certain steps to take! He will give you the best strategy for your situation! Amen!

Look at Joseph! Look at the situation, he faced as Egypt faced the famine. If you were in his shoes, what would you have done? Well, I am sure many people would have been confused and extremely worried. People may have come to the conclusion of giving out free food to the people of Egypt! God gave Joseph the right strategy! Not only did Egypt come out of the famine healthy; the country’s economy was still running. That sort of wisdom comes from God! You want to enjoy such wisdom; then you have to immerse yourself in God’s word. Hallelujah!

Today, as you seek God’s face and intervention in your problems; remember to ask God to equip the leaders of your country. Pray that God gives them wisdom and the right strategies to pull your country from the negative effects of this pandemic. As you intercede for your nation, know that God is interceding for you as well. Hallelujah!

My dear brother and sister in Christ, fret not! Stress not! Worry not! God’s strategies will see you through now and always! Reach out to Him! Immerse yourself in His word! Be patient and listen!

I wish everyone a great weekend. I pray that this weekend will be full of great surprises, joy and peace. Remember to be safe; continue to follow the rules and regulations provided by the World Health Organisation and your respective national health agencies. God bless!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

  1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

  2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out
