Topic: Daniel’s Dose: Adventure 5- With God, you will come out better than others!

Bible Reading: Daniel 1

Memory Verse: Daniel 1: 19&20 (NKJV)

Then the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they served before the king.

And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How has your day been? Sammie’s Daily Dose has been published at the end of the day; to give you a refreshing Word, after a long day!

Happy New month to everyone! I pray that this month would be full of laughter and joy! I pray the this is a month of rejoicing. I pray that each person would rejoice and give thanks for God’s Grace and mercy over their lives. I pray for healing of the mind and of the heart. Amen!

Today’s Adventure from the Daniel’s Dose series aims to encourage and uplift you! In todays’ message, the Holy Spirit wants to assure (and re-assure) you and I, that the end results are better than other- much better than we expect.

Are you ready for the message?

Let us get right into it!

Take a moment to think about your current situation! Be it studying online or transacting business online! Maybe, you have been laid off or things are not going on well for you! It could be that you have experienced/ are experiencing some pain and/or loss! No matter what you are facing during this COVID-19 pandemic; I would like you to spend a few minutes thinking about it.

When we are struggling or going through trouble, it seems as though some people are thriving or at peace. You might be wondering the reason for your misfortune! Well, be encouraged today! God is with you! In all the seasons of life, God is with you! He is with you in the good times and bad times! You have the upper hand over someone out there who seems to be winning but does not have God.

Take Daniel’s situation, the other people eating from the king’s table, must have been happy! They must have been eating to their fill! Eating all sorts and types of food! Daniel and his friends ate vegetables. During that moment, it wasn’t a good time. However, they knew that they were right with God. The question you have to ask yourself now is, “Are you right with God?” If you are, you do not have to worry! You may be going through something that is not pleasant (eating vegetables) and others might be enjoying and at peace (eating a hearty meal from the king’s table); in the end, the results would show for itself.

Always remember that your situation is not permanent. You may be going through a very difficult time now. Trust me in a short time to come; it is going to change. Look at Daniel and his three friends, at the end of their journey, the came out better than their colleagues. In Daniel 1:19&20, we are told that Daniel and his friends were filled with a lot of wisdom and understanding. The king found them to be ten times better than their peers. Do you see what God can do? Once you obey His Will and follow His way, He is faithful. Know that, you will come out of your situation, greater than you have ever been! You just need to exercise Faith in God, yearn for it and follow God’s Will. He is faithful and just to reward you; above all others- your peers, friends, colleagues, classmates, etc.

Today, believe and accept that you are scoring an A in the course this semester. Your business will be better than it was before. Your business would reach new markets and clients, in Jesus Name.

I would like you to take a piece of paper and write down what you will like God to do for your situation. Each day pray into it. Have faith and believe in God for your miracle. Spend time at His feet. Follow God’s instructions and God’s Will over your life; see it come to life!

Prayer points:

  1. Pray for a steering in your heart to get closer to God.

  2. Pray to God to help you focus on Him and Him alone.

  3. Pray to always stay close to God and not depart from Him.

  4. Pray to help you to spend time praying and reading the Word; to grow your Faith.

  5. Pray that you stand firm in your Faith.

  6. End by just worshipping and praising Him.

Today’s prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my life. I ask that you guide me and protect me through the night. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

From today, know that “With God, you will come out greater than others!” Your situation is temporary. Prepare for the great things God has planned for you in the coming months.

Remember to stay safe and continue to follow the guideline provided by the health agencies. God bless!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

  1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

  2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
