Topic: Daniel’s Dose: Adventure 13- Serve God so others may Serve Him too!
Bible Reading: Daniel 4
Memory Verse: Daniel 4:2 (NKJV)
I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me.
Good morning ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How was your weekend? Were you able to spend some time with friends and family? I pray it was full of joy and laughter. By God’s Grace, many countries are easing the restrictions of the lock down. God is taking us through! The most important question is, “Are you prepared for a post-Covid 19 world?” I pray that God guides you and protects you today and always.
Today, we continue our adventure through the Daniel’s Dose! Today, we are exploring a very interesting theme- living our lives as examples! I am excited about today’s message! I hope that you are too! Let us get right into the message!
As Christians, we are told to be careful of the way we live our lives! We are advised to be conscious of the way we speak to people, the way we dress, amongst many others! Most importantly, we are told that our lives can be a tool to spread the Gospel. All these are very true!
There are many people in this world that are not moved by words; but by action. God’s actions show through the way we live our lives; that is why our lives can be as a tool by the Holy Spirit to convict someone into the Kingdom of God! The main question is, “How do we, as Christians, make sure that we are living right?” Well, you have to first of all, accept Christ into your heart. Then, you grow in Him; buy growing your Faith and most importantly, service to Him.
To have a relationship with someone, both parties have to make sacrifices and serve the other. God does that by sending His Son to die on the cross and for pouring out unconditional love over your life. In return, we must listen to Him and obey His Will. With that, you get to know God for who He really is. With that, your life naturally begins to be a replica of Him. Why? Well, His Spirit dwells in you! Most importantly, you know Him for yourself and are “full” of Him.
In Daniel 4, the king had another dream. He called upon Daniel to interpret the dream. Nebuchadnezzar began to lift the name of God because He had seen what God can do! He realized that God is mighty, and he began to worship Him. Many people may argue about the title of the message. It is very important. God will not come through for you, if you do not diligently seek Him and serve Him. Daniel and his three friends could not have called upon God, if they had not built a relationship with God. God would not have come through for them if they had not served Him for a long period of time.
It is not about the things we confess with our mouths; it is by our actions that God knows those who are filled with Him and those who are “lukewarm.” It is by these same actions, that the world judges. These are the actions that people see; that may cause them to become Christians.
Today, reflect upon your life! Does your life show God’s presence in it? Do your actions show God’s love and favor? Are you serving God, without doubt? Well, if some of the answers to these questions is “no!” You need to spend some time working on yourself.
One thing is that if we are not fully immersed in God’s Word and God’s Will for our lives, it is very easy for everyone to notice that you are not genuine. Do you want to be genuine about God? Do you want your life to be an example to many of God unconditional love? Do you want your life to be a tool; for others to enter the kingdom of God? Then, make a decision to choose God and serve Him.
Prayer points:
Pray for a strength.
Pray that you are able to set your eyes on Him.
Pray that your life is an example to many of God’s unconditional love.
Pray, asking God to help you to let go of the material things of this world.
Pray, asking that God to renew your heart and your mind.
Pray that Holy Spirit guide you; as you embark on this journey.
Pray, committing your life in God’s hands.
Thank God for the opportunity to get closer to Him.
End by just worshipping and praising Him.
Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
Remember (always), Your service to God can be a tool to lead others to serve God! Be proud to be a child of God! With God, you do not lack anything! You do not miss out on anything! Once you make that decision, you will never regret it! My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, live a life that will Honor God and Honor yourself. God bless!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
