Daniel's Dose: Adventure 14- Everyone must praise the Lord!

Topic: Daniel’s Dose: Adventure 14- Everyone must praise the Lord!

Bible Reading: Daniel 4

Memory Verse: Daniel 4:37 (NKJV)

Now, I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How has your day been (so far)? I pray that has been full of peace ad joy. I would like to use this opportunity to encourage you; as you go through this Christian journey. It might not always be “glitz and glam,” however, it will bring you the best rewards. I pray that strengthens you on this journey. Hallelujah!

Today, we are continuing our adventure through Daniel’s Dose. We will be exploring our mission, as Christians, to spread the gospel to all nations. However, today’s message focus on the kinds of people we must reach out to! Let us get right into the message!

Each day, we meet many people. People from various backgrounds, various cultures, various races, various countries, various social classes. Rescuing the souls of these people are part of your mission. God wants us to be fishers of men! He did not give us a specification of the kind or type of people we are to approach. We are to approach ALL!

At times, drawing someone’s attention can be very scary or intimidating. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can spread the gospel to anyone, anywhere! The Holy Spirit opens doors that allows us to communicate with people we would not normally speak with. Most importantly, he fills us with the right words to speak. Do not worry! Do not fret! You have a helper; sent by God, to equip you, encourage you and strengthen you! All you have to do is call!

From the last messages, we have seen that our actions and our lifestyles can be used as a tool for winning souls. I know of some people who spend their time figuring out how their lives can be an example to many. What is supposed to be a tool; then becomes a weapon. That should not happen!

Once you serve God and have spent time at His feet, your ways change automatically. Following God way becomes a part of you; you become accustomed to living in that way! With that, you do not need to put in any extra effort to be noticed! Your life can be an example to people you have never spoken to or people who are not within your circles! Keep your eyes on God; your actions will speak for themselves!

In Daniel 4, we see that the king had a second dream. This time, he called on Daniel to interpret the dream. Daniel was able to do so because of the relationship he had built with God. Daniel’s ability to interpret the kings dream (coupled with the situation with Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nigo) caused the king to believe in God. So, he began to sing praises on to God. The king acknowledged God’s power and might over everything and everyone on earth- even “…those who walk in pride…”

Today, the Holy Spirit wants to remind us of our mission- to go out and be fishers of men! The Holy Spirit want to strengthen you and encourage you with this message! No matter who the person is or where the person comes from, you are fully equipped to win souls. Daniel and his friends were able to rescue the soul of a man who high up the social class- the king. Do not let anyone or anything be a barrier to achieving your mission. Just like Daniel and his friends, let us set our eyes on God- obeying His Word and seeking Him every day! God bless!
