Topic: Daniel’s Dose: Adventure 19- What happens when you do not Glorify God?
Bible Reading: Daniel 5 Verse(s) for the day: Daniel 5:23-28 (NKJV) Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? I hope your day has been great, so far! Today, our adventure continues! What are some of the things that you have learnt this past month in the book of Daniel? Is there anything that surprised you? Were you awed by any of the messages? Let us know! We would love to hear from you! Today’s message is the last message from Sammie’s Daily Dose in the month of May. Yes! Monday’s date is 1st June 2020, the beginning of another month. June is the sixth month of the year. Can you believe it? God has preserved you and protected you for half of the year. He has seen you through a global pandemic. We give Him all the Glory. We must all spend time at God’s Feet, thanking Him for all He has done for us! Though this is a bit early, I would like to wish you all a Happy New Month. June is the month of Praise. Hallelujah! On that note, I would like to inform you that the commencement of registration for Sammie’s Daily Dose’s second event, Time At His Feet 2.0, is Monday, 1st June 2020. As per guidelines, this event would hold a maximum of 25 people (all social distancing rules will be followed. Masks, gloves and sanitizers would be available). More importantly, we would be live on Zoom. I would like to urge you all to register; this year is going to be bigger and better than last year! Watch out for something special from Sammie’s Daily Dose! Well, let us get into the message! As Christians, we have been told at one point or another, that we serve a Jealous God! A God who is displeased when we give our attention to other things/ gods. Yes! That is true! The God we serve is a Jealous God, however, He is a very Merciful God. He gives us countless opportunities to get back on the right track. I like to say He is the “God of many, limited chances.” Yes! Why do I say this? Well, God’s unconditional love for you and I is very forgiving and understanding. When we turn away from God, He provides us with several chances to get back to Him. When we falter, He is always there to help us up. He forgives us many times! Countless times! But God’s Mercy has a limit. If God gives you several chances and you do not budge; you are taking advantage of His kindness. Many Christians do that! They know that God is forgiving; they do the wrong things, with the thought that He will forgive them. God does give you chances, but, unfortunately, He limits them. We must make sure we do not reach that limit and get on Gods bad side. Look at Belshazzar, as he continued to glorify other gods, God punished him for his actions. Belshazzar lost his kingdom, the very thing he worshipped. Do not be in the same position as Belshazzar. Always walk in Gods path and follow His Will. He would give you the opportunity to be greater and better than anything you have ever imagined. If you do not glorify Him, at a point, the opportunity you might have received/enjoyed, can become a curse. This afternoon/ evening, as you prepare for a great weekend, reflect on the key messages shared this week. Beware of your actions! Are you following God’s plan for your life. Have you dedicated your life to Him. Pray for God’s presence to fill you and transform you. God is merciful, He will come to your rescue. The time is now. You don’t want to be on God’s bad side. Hallelujah!
Prayer Points: 1. Ask God to reveal Himself to you. 2. Ask God to prepare your heart. 3. Ask for healing in your heart and your mind. 4. Ask that you subdue your flesh and earthly desires. 5. Ask for direction.
6. Ask for help from the Holy Spirit. 7. Ask for the desire to learn more about God.

Today’s prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen! IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
