Topic: Daniel’s Dose: Adventure 25- Who interprets dreams?

Bible Reading: Daniel 7
Memory Verse: Daniel 7:16 (NJKV)
I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? I hope you all had a wonderful day! I hope your day was full of laughter and joy! Today, we continue our journey through Daniel’s Dose. We would be looking at interpretation of dreams! When we have dreams, who interprets them? Well, let us find out more from the Holy Spirit.
We dream, as a form of communication with God. God gives us glimpses of things going to happen or things happening spiritually (and physically) without our knowledge. He reveals to redeem! He reveals to guide us! He reveals to prepare us! However, we must understand what the dream means to fully grasp its meaning. The interpretation of your dream is very important.
For many people, we wonder, “Who will interpret my dreams?” Well, dreams are interpreted by God. However, He uses various mediums to communicate this interpretation with us! God uses other people, His Word and dreams; to give us interpretations of our dreams. God uses these various approaches to help us to grasp and appreciate the message He has for us! Now, let’s take a look at these three approaches!
God uses other people to interpret our dreams. God uses people who are more mature in their Christian- walk or people with Spirit-filled gifts to interpret certain dreams we have. God does this so we get clarity. These people may be the right person(s) to put a dream in-context for us or simply, break the dream down into simple language. With this, we are able to understand God’s message to us! Most importantly, we get to identify what to do about it- do we need to pray about a particular issue/ aspect of our lives, or do we need to prepare for a breakthrough!
God uses His Word to interpret our dreams. At times, when we wake up from a dream, there are certain Bible verses that come to mind. Other times, one has a strong feeling to read a certain passage of scripture. Well, God uses scripture to help us to understand the context of the contents of the dream! He uses scripture as a form of direction on what to do! There may be certain actions that in the Bible, God wants you to learn from and apply to your life/ situation! Do not brush that feeling away or procrastinate! To understand a dream you had, you may just need to open the Bible and read a few scriptures.
God interprets dreams through dreams. There are times when a person has a series of dream over the day or week! Sometimes, these dreams explain each other. God interprets a dream with a new one! There are times where, like Daniel, God reveals himself through dreams to interpret the dream!
Well, the most important thing to note is that, you must already be ready for God! He speaks to us in diverse ways! We have to open our hearts and be prepared to hear Him and listen to Him! Today, do not take any dream you get for granted! You do not know what God is trying to reveal to you! Just have an open heart and let Him lead! He always communicates with us in the best ways! In ways, we would easily understand and grasp his message! Do not miss all these opportunities! Hallelujah!

Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
