Topic: Esther’s Glory: Issue Five- God exposes and eliminates your enemies!

Bible Reading: Esther 2

Memory Verses: Esther 2:21-23 (NKJV)

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? Hope you had a wonderful day! The weekend is around the corner- excited to relax? Well, before getting into the message, I wish you all “A happy new month!” As mentioned in yesterday’s post, this month, we are going to dedicate time to appreciate and give thanks to God; for all He has done! How do you think we can do this (effectively)? Share your thoughts and ideas with me- I would love to hear from you all!

Today, we are continuing with another Spirit-filled message; from the “Esther’s Glory” series! As we have established (so far in the previous posts in this series), God loves us so dearly. He has a plan in motion for each and every one of us! We just have to continue to trust Him and obey Him! We must follow the directions/ paths, He lays for us! Today’s message continues to explore the ways in which God loves us and protects us! Today’s message shows how great and perfect God’s plan is- especially during our difficult/ challenging season(s).

When we go through difficult seasons in our lives, we get worried about the thing(s) we have to face. Naturally, we begin to think about ways to avoid and/ or fight off people and circumstances. At times, we forget that we serve a living God who has vowed to protect us. We forget that we are conquerors; the battle that we are so scared of, we have won already.

Today, the Holy Spirit wants to re-assure us that the enemy’s plan has never prevailed. God would reveal and expose all the people who are working under the influence of the enemy, against you! God does all of this to show the world who He is! All the Glory belongs to Him! The world revolves because of Him.

Let us take a look at the verses for the day- Esther 2:21-23. In these verses, we see that Mordecai heard two of the king eunuchs plotting against the king. Through Esther’s help (in Mordecai’s name), the king found about their plans. An investigation confirmed their plans and both eunuchs were hanged. From this, we see how these eunuchs were exposed and eliminated. This is what God does for us! He takes the people who are against or could potentially be against us in the future; He exposes them and punishes them! My dear brother and sister in Christ, do not fret and do not worry about the things that go on behind you. Do not worry about the things that would happen in the future. Why? All the things and people that plan to harm or may be a part of a plan to harm you, will all be exposed! Hallelujah!

Many of you may say that these verses do not support today’s theme. Well, as I typed the message, I doubted it as well. But the Holy Spirit drew my attention to something. In verse 21, the Bible tells us that the two eunuchs were furious at the king. We know that anger is not from God. In anger, people do things without things- most of the times ungodly and unlawful things.

Well, these two eunuchs would have gone to any extent to see that the king suffer- this could mean hurting Esther and/ or potentially the Jews as well. The king was fond of Esther and everyone knew and saw that. These eunuchs could take advantage of this and used it against Esther. God, being the “Grand-est Grandmaster,” had already made provisions to ensure that the enemy does not win! This is the kind of God we serve! Why should you worry or fret! No! Instead, BE CONFIDENT! Walk with your head held high and your chest out! God has got you! Always remember that! God exposes and eliminates all those who are against you! They should fret and be worried, not you! They have no idea the power of the God backing you!

Prayer Points:

1. Ask God to reveal Himself to you.

2. Ask God to prepare your heart; to help you trust in Him

3. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with confidence and hope.

4. Ask God to continue to shower His grace and mercy upon your life.

End with a time of praise and worship!

Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you!

Today’s prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
