Topic: Esther’s Glory- Issue four- Favor amongst your enemies!
Bible Reading: Esther 2
Memory Verse: Esther 2:9a (NKJV)
Now the young woman pleased him, and she obtained his favor; …
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? I hope your day and your week have been great! Today is the end of another month; by God’s Grace! He has protected us and kept us from evil and harm’s way! We give Him all the Glory!
Every month, many Christians make declarations for the month! For the month of October, let our family (you and I) do something different! Let us dedicate the month of October to appreciating and giving thanks to God! As Christians, we do not show God a lot of appreciation. A lot of us think that we deserve what we own or have! Truthfully, we don’t! It is just by the Grace and mercy of God! And for that, we must show our appreciation! Are you onboard? Let me know what you think!
Today, we are going continue with our new series- Esther’s Glory. In the message, we are going to remind ourselves of the depth of God’s love for us! Well, once you put your trust in God; He protects us! A benefit of enjoying God’s love and security; is obtaining favor everywhere we go- even from our enemies.
This message is very short and simple! The Holy Spirit wants to encourage us, by reminding us that we are favored! No matter where we are! No matter the situation we face! No matter the people we face- God is on our side; we are favored!
My dear brother or sister in Christ, why are you worried? Why are you nervous? Why are you anxious? Just take your time and relax! The enemy cannot harm you! You have obtained his favor! The funny thing is that he does not know that! He thinks that all he is doing is to harm you! Little does he know that the God you and I serve; is way ahead of him! All he is doing, is a part of your great testimony! A part of your breakthrough!
Look at the verse of the day! It says that Esther obtained the king’s favor. The rest of the verse tells us that the king gave her seven maidservants from his palace and moved her (Esther) to the best place in the house of women! See, the enemy does not have the precision of God! By God’s doing, the king favored Esther right from the beginning! Though the enemy thought he was about to pull a huge stunt; God had already taken care of it!
Tonight, take some time to reflect on your life! You realize that God has been faithful! Even when the enemy (and at times yourself) thought that there was no hope! God gave you victories each day! So, as you go on today; embrace the situation you are in! You are favored! Even those that set out against you; will favor you! People may gather to scheme and gossip; little do they know that their efforts are going to make you shine even brighter! Don’t fret! Don’t worry! Don’t stress yourself! God’s got you! He has a well-thought-out plan for you- because He loves you! Trust in Him always! God bless you!

Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
