Topic: Esther’s Glory: Issue three- Know the right time to speak!!
Bible Reading: Esther 2
Memory Verse: Esther 2:10 NKJV
Esther had not revealed her people or her family, for Mordecai had charged her not to reveal it.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? I hope you have had a wonderful day and week (so far). As mentioned in yesterday’s post, Sammie’s Daily Dose is back again after a long break! We are continuing our series- Esther’s Glory- with a third issue. In today’s message, we would be looking at the speaking at the right time! Well, let us get right into it!
As we have established thus far in this series, God is with us all the time! He knows everything about our lives! He knows what has happened, what is happening now and what is about to happen. With God’s undying love for us, we are assured that He has got our backs always! No matter what we go through, we are rest assured that God is with us; helping us, encouraging us, and most importantly, fighting our battles (on our behalf).
Thanks to all of this, we can jubilate because God has a plan for each and every single one of us; especially in our times of trials. It is important that we are always reminded that; no matter the situation we may face, God is with us! He has his plan already in motion; to protect and guide us. As Christians, we can relax and not stress in the worst of moments. Why? Well, we have a Great God who is fighting on our behalf. All we need to do is trust Him and follow the path He shows. As part of the trusting and “followership,” we must learn to be silent! We must learn to speak at the right time!
There are many of us who are always quick to speak. When we are going through certain trials and/ or tribulations, or the times we are celebrating our successes; we tend to tell everyone around us! We are not always to do that! We have to be very sensitive of the things we tell people. Most importantly, we have to be very careful about the people we share our “information” with! Most times, God lets us know the right time to share stuff with others! Simply trusting in Him and waiting patiently in Him; is sometimes all we need to win a battle.
As Christians, silence is one of the ways we show our appreciation to God and patiently wait on Him! Well, why is that? Our words are powerful. The enemy can take your words and use it against you! In addition to this, there are times whereby speaking at the wrong time; may cause damage or may hurt you in the process. Let us take a look at a scenario.
In the memory verse of the day, we see that Mordecai has told Esther not to tell anyone about her family or her people! Why? Well, it was the wrong time for that! Let us now play an imaginary game! Imagine if Esther has spoken about her family or her people. What do you think would have happened? Take a few minutes to think about this!
Well, Esther may not have gone on to be Queen. Why? Well, if the wrong people had heard about Esther’s family; they would have advised the King against making her Queen. [Many people in the King’s vast kingdom may have not liked the Israelites.] If Esther had not been Queen, all Israelites could have been killed! That would be a huge hitch in God’s plan for His people!
As Christians, it is important to know when to speak and when not to. We have to be extremely sensitive; especially spiritually. The enemy’s eyes are constantly on us! We cannot afford to slip or make mistakes. Thankfully, God gave us the Holy Spirit to help us with all this! So, know that you are not alone! You have a helper! He is available to you every day- anytime, anywhere, any place! Just reach out to Him!
I pray that from today’s message, we have learnt a thing or two; about the importance of waiting for the right time to speak! Our attention must be on God! We must trust in Him and allow Him to direct our path! In that path, He will show you the right time to speak (and the right people to speak to)! You have already won the battle; with Christ by your side! Do not ruin it or get into a more complication situation, because of your words!
My dear brother or sister in Christ, always remember this statement:
“Know the right time to speak!”
Thankfully, the Holy Spirit is here to help you and I.
God richly bless you!
Prayer Points:
1. Ask God to reveal Himself to you.
2. Ask God to prepare your heart.
3. Ask for strength.
4. Ask that the Holy Spirit to equip you and help you through difficult times.
5. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and support you.
6. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you listen to and obey God’s plan for your life.
End with a time of praise and worship!
Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you!
Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
