Topic: Isaiah’s Truths: Lesson 1-Are you rebelling against God?
Bible Reading: Isaiah 1
Memory Verse: Isaiah 1:2
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: “I hove nourished and brought up children, And they have rebelled against me;…”
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? Hope you are having a wonderful week and day so far! Happy New Month once again! Always remember that “God’s not done with you!” Expect great and wonderful things from your Father! As we have seen from our previous series, “Esther’s Glory,” God has a plan for us all! A plan for our good; however, it just doesn’t happen in our timeline- but in God’s time! Don’t give up! Don’t loose hope! Have Faith in God and the promise He has! And keep pushing! He will come through!
Today is a very exciting day for us! We are beginning a new series today! Yes! We begin our journey through the book of Isaiah! This series is going to be a very interesting- raw, radical, truthful- and long- Isaiah has 66 chapters- journey! I know that the Holy Spirit has a lot to share with us (especially during these times!)
Are you ready? Let us go!
There are many Christians who go to church on Sunday, sing the loudest, dance the craziest, shout the loudest “Amens” and “Hallelujahs;” their lives from Monday to Saturday does not reflect Christ! There are many Christians that God has blessed but are very uptight and stingy! There are Christians who have various gifts, but they use them for other purposes! There are Christians who decide when to follow Christ and when not to- they want to follow the ways of this world but be Christians when it is convenient! There are elders at church, that the congregation look up to for support, however, they are the worse schemers and swindlers you can find! There are many Christians who are not being transformed by God (and His Word)! The list goes on and on…
Well, no one is perfect; we are all on a journey! We would not get things right all the time! However, the things we can control (and do right) we must! As a Christian, every decision counts! In everything we do, there is the right way (Gods way) and the other way(s). Once we make the decision to follow Christ, we have to make the decision to stick by God! We have to ensure that we are living Christ-like lives, filled with God’s Word and dripping with radiance from the Holy Spirit!
The question we must all truthfully answer is, “Are you conforming to the ways of this world or to the ways of our Heavenly Father?” If you can truthfully admit that you falter, you have to make the decision to get back and let God in fully!
Many Christians are living their lives as though it is their own! This life we live is not our own- we must honor the One who gives it to us freely! Why do we do what we want and rebel against Him? Why? God does not ask us to be perfect, but He wants us to be on the track to perfection! The other way may seem like the easiest option now; however, in the long run, facing the wrath of God for your rebellion is a million times worse! Which choice would you make- instant gratification or delayed gratification! Yes! Living a Christ-like life is not easy in this very messy world that we live in! It is the surest way to eternal joy! Though it may be the toughest journey, it is the most rewarding! God rewards all His children that diligently seek Him! His rewards are greater, bigger and better than what anyone can think or imagine for themselves!
So children of God, stop rebelling against Him! Church! Stop rebelling against Him! Enough is enough! The Holy Spirit is teaching us about this because we have been living rebellious lives for way too long! It is time for Christians to rise up again! It is time for the Children of God to draw nearer to Him! For the times coming up ahead are very terrifying! But God is Faithful! Those who know their God, will be protected and rewarded; for His Glory!
Also, we must be other brothers and sisters’ keepers! When you see someone struggling, reach out to help them! Be sensitive to people situations! Help people to be accountable for their actions! Remind and encourage; don’t judge! Be there as a support and a helping hand! For God will ask us about them too! We have a responsibility to help them!
We, at Sammie’s Daily Dose, hope that today’s message has encouraged you to take action! Are you rebelling against God? It is not too late! God is ready (with open arms) to welcome you back! Are you ready to give Him your all and live a life of Him and not of yourself?
God has given us all we need for life and for Godliness, however our sin-full flesh is always in contention for our attention! We must make the ultimate decision- flesh or God!
Have a wonderful evening! God bless you all!
Please don’t hesitate to share with post with someone you know and/ or love! This is a way of supporting and encouraging them, in Christ! God richly bless you!

Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out
