Isaiah's Truths: Lesson 10-Leadership is a blessing from God!

Topic: Isaiah’s Truths: Lesson 10- Leadership is a blessing from God!

Bible Reading: Isaiah 3

Memory verse: Isaiah 3: 4

“I will give children to be their princes, Andbabes shall rule over them.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? I hope you are a having a wonderful day! God has been good; He has given us life and has preserved us! We give Him the Glory! Yesterday, we looked at the ninth lesson in our series, Isaiah’s Truths! Have you read yesterday’s post? If you haven’t, we would encourage you to take some time off to do so (and other messages on the blog page). Well…

Let us get into today’s message…

Leadership is a blessing from God! We see a lot of people defy rules and laws set in place by the leaders of a society. We see and hear of people who publicly say (and do) bad/ negative things against the leadership of a nation! At school, we see students painfully say mean words about the principal, teachers, etc. when there are rules that go against their wishes. At the workplace, we see colleagues conniving and scheming against their bosses. Why? Well, they do not like what their boss doing or simply, they trust their feelings and do not want to pay the price for anything.

Well, leadership (no matter the level), has been put in place to direct us! We do not know everything in this world; our leaders are to guide us. Spiritually, Christ is our leader! He leads us in the path of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). Just as He leads us spiritually, He has anointed and blessed to lead us here on earth! You see; God knowing our human nature, every relationship or interaction with Him is replicated in several ways here on earth! Do you take anything for granted! Everything in the physical has its roots in the spiritual.

In today’s verse, we see that as part of God’s judgement on Judah and Jerusalem, their leadership will be tampered. The verse compares their leaders to babes. Babies are not independent. They need help to do everything! In this situation, it shows that the leaders of the cities would lead them astray! They would not be able to guide and steer the cities away! In fact, Judah and Jerusalem were going to become lawless cities! And in any lawless city, everyone does what they want, and evil prevails.

The loss of guidance and leadership is the consequence for turning away from God! In this sense, it is almost like God telling you to live your life freely- just as you please! The thing is that a life without God is no life at all! Nothing and no one can survive it. Do you want to be in a situation where you are living a life (solely) dependent on yourself? Would you be able to handle all of life’s pressures? Look how you break down when you face difficulties; how can you do it for a lifetime?

Well, the decision is in your hands! God never forces anyone to choose Him! You must be ready to choose Him! Living a life without God is impossible! Think about this… and make the right decision- with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Points:

1. Thank the Holy Spirit for this reminder!

2. Thank God for His Grace and Mercy!

3. Pray for Christians worldwide that they may continue to choose Christ each day!

4. Ask God for strength to choose Him through it all!

End with a time of praise and worship!

Today’s prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out
