Topic: Isaiah’s Truths: Lesson 11: Rewards from our Father!

Bible Reading: Isaiah 4

Memory verse: Isaiah 4: 4a

When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion…

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How has your week been? Like we mentioned on Monday, we are back! As usual, all blog posts are published four times a week. Are you excited to continue our journey through the book of Isaiah? We are very excited- we hope you are too. This week, the Holy Spirit would be teaching us about the rewards we get to enjoy as children of God! Are you ready? Let’s go….

Wait a minute… before we move into the message for the day, we would like to introduce you to “Time At His Feet.” This is Sammie’s Ministries’ annual event where we gather and spend time in God’s presence through Bible Study, worship and prayer. This year’s event falls on our third anniversary. We would like to encourage you all to spend some time with the Sammie’s Ministries team on 3rdJuly 2021. Come and let’s mingle and celebrate Christ and this ministry! To attend, registration is important- registration can be done below!

Now… moving into the message for the day…

On Monday, when we posted the Pill of the Week, we received a comment from a lady who felt like she has been bad; forgiveness and saving was not possible! This comment struck us. We felt like there was a part of her that wished to turn away from her sinful nature! However, someway somehow, she is convinced that it is too late to change.

It quickly drew us to this message we prepared for today! The God we serve is a very faithful and just God! Once you are willing and open to accept Him and change your ways; He willing to change you! God does not bear grudges against you once you are His child! No matter what you may have done or what you may have been involved in; once you accept Christ into your heart and ask for forgiveness, there is no record of it! In fact, your record sheet is wiped clean! He washes away all the darkness and negativity and leaves you clean and brand new!! Yes, this is the kind of loving God we serve!

From the verse of the day, we see that God washed away the sins of the daughters of Zion. Daughters of Zion refers to people from Israel or Israelites (God’s chosen people). The verse speaks directly to us, Children of God. Why? Well, when we give our lives to Christ and we become a part of God’s family, we are part of a Spiritual Israel. This verse speaks directly to us. God is telling us that once we become part of His family; He forgives us of everything in our past/ old lives- no matter what it is! This kind of love is greater and better than any other here on earth.

Today, we are calling out to you! Yes you! Do you know of anyone in a bad place and seeking refuge or help? Have you been trying to get someone to listen to the Gospel and accept Christ? This is a perfect piece to share to them! Let them know that no matter what they have been through God is ready with arms open wide to love them, protect them and care for them! Hallelujah! If you also need to come to the kingdom of God, we pray that this message speaks to you and urges you to take the bold step for Christ! One reward we receive from Christ is a new life! Interested in how this sounds.. prepare your heart and say the prayer below!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out
