Bible Reading: Esther 2
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you? I hope you had a wonderful day today! Today’s post is a continuation of the recap of our just-ended series “Esther’s Glory.” Today’s post will be highlighting key points from Esther 2- Issues three, four and five of the Esther’s Glory series.

Let’s get to today’s post!]
The first lesson we can learn from Esther 2 is to know when to speak! Most of the time, we do not pay particular attention to what we say! A lot of things we say are influenced by our emotions! As children of God, that should not be so! Sometimes, silence is all you need! Some of the battles we fight are caused by our mouths! We are always in a rush to share and tell others all that happens in our lives! You may think people have good intentions! However, that’s not always the case!
The enemy is in the dark about a lot of the plans God has for us! Once we say them, the enemy runs with it and tries to oppose them! Like in Esther’s case (Esther 2; ), sometimes, silence is the key to your breakthrough! As children of God, be very sensitive! Know when to speak and whom to speak to! I pray that Gid gives us the Grace to know when to speak and whom to speak to!
The second important lesson that Esther 2 teaches is that as children of God, we are favored (even amongst our enemies). From Esther’s story, we see that the king favored Esther! By virtue of being God’s child (and most importantly, following God’s will for her life), Esther was favored by the king (Esther 2:9). Just like Esther, we (those who diligently seek and obey God) find favor in the sight of all who cross their paths! Are you worried about your next steps? Don’t be! You are favored! Your path is favored! Hallelujah!
The final lesson we draw from the chapter in question is that God exposes and eliminates all our enemies! When we go through difficult times, we sometimes start to panic because we feel like the enemy has the upper hand! At times, we go through certain battles whereby the enemy lurks at the corner and seems to have the winning strategy!
From Esther 2:21- 23, God uses Mordecai’s encounters (by overhearing the eunuchs) to expose and eliminate his enemies. As we established in Esther 1, God has a grand plan set I motion for us! As part of the plan, he exposes and eliminates all our contenders- those known and unknown to us! All the contenders that are directly and indirectly linked to us and our situation! Sometimes, when we are in a battle, we don’t really know or understand our opponents! At times, we focus on one angle of the battle and leave several others (those also comes with their fair share of contenders).
In this chapter, God is reassuring us that He has total control of us and the battlefield! All we need to do is continue to trust and obey Him, with all our decisions and lifestyle. Though it may not be easy; it is possible! God has given us all it takes to stay on the journey with Him! You have to make the decision for it! Are you ready?
Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you!
Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!
Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
