Topic: The Recap (Esther’s Glory): Part 4 (Esther 4)

Bible Reading: Esther 4

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How was your day? I pray that you had a wonderful day, full of laughter and God’s goodness! How are you enjoying the “Recap” series so far? I pray that you are being blessed by these messages from the Holy Spirit! You can reach out to Sammie’s Ministries to share your feedback, testimonies and questions! We would love to hear from you!

Today, we continue our recap series on the book of Esther! Today’s recap is based on Esther 4- Issue 7. Are you ready for what the Holy Spirit has in store for us today? Well let us get right into the message!

From Esther 4, we learn that as Christians we have to take an important decision- to be chosen or to be forgotten! Every day, we are faced with a very important decision to make! We have to choose to follow/ obey God or follow our own will! Each and every one of us, have a purpose to fulfill! Our purpose ties with God’s mission! God has equipped us with everything we need to be able to work/ achieve our purpose!

Though he has equipped us, we have to make the decision to achieve our goals! The thing to note is that if we do not choose to follow God and His will for our lives to achieve our purpose; God will raise someone else to do what we were supposed to do! And when that happens, we would have to suffer the consequences of that! Do we want to live far away from God and His will for us? This is an important question we mut ask ourselves each day!

Each child of God has a particular purpose! You have been chosen to do a particular thing because God knows you have the capability and capacity to do it! And most importantly, He will train you to do so! Doing this is not always easy; our flesh would always tempt us with thoughts and feelings to go our own way! The thing about listening to our flesh is that; our flesh wants comfort- that is temporary! Soon, you would feel depressed and unwanted because the flesh would keep wanting temporary things- you would not be happy!

However, when you chose Christ and the tough way! You will be rewarded- not only here on earth but in heaven too! When you chose God, you are filled with permanent blessings and honor! My dear brother and sister in Christ, what will your decision be? Will you choose God and be chosen to do His work, or will you turn your face away from God and suffer the repercussions (spiritual death)? The ball is in your court! What will the final decision be?

Though the journey is not easy, I would encourage you to chose God! You can do it! Its not always easy but God is with you through everything! He is your life partner (and beyond)! Just trust in Him! You will never regret this decision! Stand strong and hold firmly to Christ! God richly bless you!

Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you!

Today’s prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
