Topic: The Recap (Esther’s Glory): Part 5 (Esther 5)
Bible Reading: Esther 5
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? I hope you had a wonderful day! It’s a new month; are you excited about what this month may hold? Personally, I am excited! I know God is with me, so I am excited to continue my journey with Him (and with you all).
Today, we are continuing the recap series with a look at the key lesson from Esther 5. Well, let us get right into the lessons for the day!
Lesson 1: We are on a tactical journey to the finish line
As Christians, we must be very sensitive about our moves! We have to be very careful and thoughtful of our actions. As we go through our journey through life, we are in constant battle with the enemy! Our opponent (the enemy) is very cunning and smart! The enemy is always looking for an opportunity to steal, kill and destroy! We must not act quickly! We must wait and listen to God’s direction (and strategies) before we attempt anything!
I would admit, at times, the enemy’s plans can really get under your skin! There are times whereby our emotions get the better of us; however, we must stop and look up to God- rather not stop and react. After all, the God we serve already knows the end from the beginning! He is many thousand steps ahead of the enemy! Going back to God will help you! Most times, when we are fighting a battle, we look at the physical and we think we can handle it! Thankfully, we serve a God who has superior power over the physical and spiritual. Why not go to Him? He is ready to give us all the tactical points and strategies to maneuver the wrath of the enemy!
Lesson 2: The enemy is constantly out to get you!
As Christians, it is important to know and understand that the enemy we fight against is constantly scheming and planning your downfall! As long as you choose Christ, you choose to battle against the enemy! He doesn’t sleep nor slumber!
Due to this, it is important that Christians are also equipped and prepared at all times! So that all the tricks of the enemy do not take us by surprise! You may not know the exact actions of the enemy; however, as Christians, we should be well-equipped to stand firm; no matter what comes our way!
The biggest question to ask yourself is “Are you firmly rooted in Christ?” This is because without Him, the enemy will make you weary, and you may be encouraged to slip up! However, if you make the decision for Christ, you have a Father protecting and guiding you throughout your life! What will the decision be?
Lesson 3: Are you on the Lord’s side?
Before reading this portion of the message, think carefully about the question at hand- Are you on the Lord’s side? There are many individuals who claim to be on the Lord’s side; however, they are not! They are on the Lord’s side when it is convenient for them! When we choose God, it comes the good and “bad.”
As God’s children, we must be ready to stand up for Him- no matter what! Supporting God may cause us to face persecution. Are you ready to confess and proclaim God, no matter the price?
In the same vein, when you are on the Lord’s side, He will reward you! Once you diligently serve and seek Him, He (God) never forgets and rewards you accordingly! What would your final decision be?

Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
