Bible Reading: Genesis 2 Memory Verse: Genesis 2:8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. Hello everyone! Good evening! I hope you had a great day today! This message is the fourth part of the Genesis Story. Today we would be looking at the land that God has prepared for all His children. I hope you are enjoying the Genesis Story so far. I have been receiving a lot of messages and feedback. Itis amazing. God bless you all. God has given each and every single person a land. This land is to yield fruits for the Glory of God. It is way for God to show how wonderful and glorious He is. The interesting thing is that everyone’s land varies. My land is not the same as yours. Some people’s lands are their businesses, others, its their marriages, etc. Everyone’s land is unique to their character and abilities. God would not give us a land that we would not be able to take care of. However, there are so many Christians who do have bare or barren land. You might ask why? Well it is because they are not listening to what God is telling them. They usually seek lands that are not supposed to be theirs. Due to jealousy, when most people see others flourishing and growing in their lands, they want the same thing. They go through all the means to acquire what someone else has. This makes them very unhappy. Meanwhile, their actual land is there waiting for them. When God gives you your land, He tells you what the end goal is. It can be through visions in your mind’s eye, or through dreams or through His Word. When that happens we have to work on the land to make sure it yields fruit to reach the end goal. Yup, we must work on the land. Our God is very loving; He has given us everything we need to yield fruits on the land. He will never give someone their land before they are ready to work on it. Trust me, it is not always easy to work your land. But if you do, God will bless you immensely. For example, if your land is a business, God would give you the business He wants you to have. He will then show you the end game of the business. Maybe the business is a restaurant. God would help to own a mini restaurant at the porch of your house. He would then reveal to you the end goal- the number 1 restaurant in the whole of West Africa. Now, you will have to work to achieve the end goal. You will have to grow the business to become a multinational company. You would do this by building relationships, learning from others, expansion, timing and most importantly prayer. The in between process from the beginning to the end, can be very difficult. Do you know why? Hmm. The enemy. The enemy does not like to see the children of God doing well. This is because we are his enemy. Yup. Children of God are enemies of the enemy. He will do everything he can to destroy your land. So whilst we are working our land, we must protect it and defend it. God has given us the power to trample over snakes and scorpions. He has given us the power to defeat the enemy. We are more than conquerors. Hallelujah! Plus, we are like sheep; Christ is the shepherd. Every shepherd protects their sheep. Just like that, Christ is protecting us from the enemy. The amazing thing is that He has done it over two thousand years ago. We just have to claim it. In our Bible Reading of Genesis 2, we see that Adam was given his land, Eden. If you pay particular to the passage, you will realise something different about Eden and the land God has given us. Well, Eden was already yielding fruits when God gave the land to Adam. Adam was just a caretaker. For us, we have to work the land to make it yield fruits. Do you know the reason why? Sin. Yup. Sin. Sin came into the world and we lost the priviledge to be caretakers of the land but to be workers and caretakers of the land. God being so good, He sent His Son Jesus to come and die on the cross for you and I. By doing so, He gave us everything we need to yield fruits. Is God not amazing? To receive this land God has prepared for you and to know how to yield fruits, you need to have accepted Christ into your heart. So I ask you this important question, “Have you accepted Christ into your heart?” If your answer is no, please repeat this short prayer with all honesty and sincerity. Dear Lord, I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and He came to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fil me and cleanse me sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you Lord. Amen. If you said this prayer, congratulations! You are now part of God’s family. God is preparing you for the land He is about to give you. Heaven is jubilating by your welcome. Hallelujah! I would encourage you to get yourself a Bible- in a version that you understand. Read it constantly. By doing this, you would be able to know and understand God better; as well as grow Spiritually. I will encourage you to find a Bible- believing church to attend, so that you can fellowship with other Christians. To all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I want to remind you that God has a land for you. He is just waiting for you to listen to His directions. So I urge you to open your hearts and your minds unto God so that you will know when He starts speaking to you. God bless. - Have a wonderful evening and let God inspire you. Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I pray that you protect me and my family this night. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. This is the end of the fourth part of the Genesis Story. How did you find it?
