The Genesis Story: Part 22- The God of Details!

Bible Reading: Genesis 6

Memory Verse: Genesis 6: 14

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen! Hope you had a great day yesterday! I want to use this opportunity to apologise for the late posting of this message. God richly bless you for patiently waiting to read this message. Did you embark on thanksgiving project yesterday? Did you thank God for the little and big things in your life? I hope you did. Send me a message (attaching your email) of what you were thankful for.

This message is the twenty- second Part of The Genesis Story. We would be looking at how detailed and meticulous our Father in heaven is. In the beginning, we see that God created a lot of things- the heavens and the earth, the sky, land, plants, etc. As you read Genesis 1, it shows of how detailed God is. He had thought – through and carefully designed how everything would be placed and how every human would look like. Imagine if God did not pay attention to details, how do you think this world would be like? In a total mess I must say. But the God we serve, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, is very detailed in everything He does.

I want you to take a look at the next person close to you. It could be a family member or a friend. Are you two the same? No! God made every single one of us differently. He spent time to carefully carve out how everyone would look like and also our personalities. You would not find any two people who look the same and act the same. Even with identical twins, they are not perfectly identical. There are some features that one would have and the other wouldn’t. that’s how wonderful and awesome God is. Hallelujah!

I also want you to spend time to think about the different organs in the body and how they work. They all have specific tasks that work simultaneously. Its just so wonderful. It just goes to show you how detailed God is. He spent His time to create everything because He wants His creations to be perfect and good. Or just take some time to think about how babies grow into children then into adults. Its just so amazing how the body expand and grows, how we have two eyes, two ears, one nose, one mouth. It is just wonderful. I am always awed when I think about God and His creations.

This message is to encourage you to also be detailed. In everything we do, we must put in the effort and think through it before doing it. We should not just get up and do anything that we feel. This is because feelings are based on the flesh and our primary battle (as humans) is against the flesh. I urge you and encourage you to be detailed, especially when it comes to your walk with Christ. Hallelujah!

If you are encouraged and would like to serve such a detailed and awesome God, kindly repeat this prayer.

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you Lord. Amen.

If you said this prayer, congratulations! You are now part of God’s family. Heaven is jubilating by your welcome. Hallelujah! You have been given new life. Hallelujah! You are already walking in eternity. To do so, I would encourage you to get yourself a well- translated Bible. Read it constantly. By doing this, you would be able to know and understand God better; as well as grow Spiritually. I will encourage you to find a Bible- believing church to attend, so that you can fellowship with other Christians. You are now serving a detailed God who would carefully take care of you and love you unconditionally.

  • Have a wonderful morning and let God inspire you.
