Topic: The Genesis Story: Part 142- You are anointed to perform the task!
Bible Reading: Genesis 44
Memory Verse: Genesis 44: 16
“What can we say to my lord?” Judah replied. “What can we say? How can we prove our innocence? God has uncovered your servants’ guilt. We are now my lord’s slaves- we ourselves and the one who was to have the cup.”
Good morning ladies and gentlemen! How has your morning been (so far)? I apologize for not posting a message yesterday! Today, Sammie’s Daily Dose with Part 142 of the Genesis story! Are you excited? I now I am!
Today, we are going to explore the theme: You are anointed to perform the task! Did you know that God anoints those He calls? Did you know that you are anointed? Well, today, the Holy Spirit wants to let us know this! I pray that you are encouraged by the message!
Looking at Judah (as well as many other individuals in the Bible; that were called by God), they had the courage and ability to do what God has told them. Judah was able to stand before a king! He was able to give up his life for his brother! He had the courage to go ahead with what he needed to do!
Many times, I ponder around the reasons Judah went forward to speak! Any of his brothers could have done this; but they didn’t! This was because he was chosen to do this task. He was anointed to perform the task he was assigned. Not only that, God had anointed him and ordained him to perform this task. With that, God blessed him immensely. Judah’s tribe was blessed!
Today, the Holy Spirit wants to let you know that you are anointed! You are able to do the task God has assigned you! You are the best person to carry out this task! However, though God has anointed you and equipped you; you have to make the decision to do the task! The task God has asked you to carry out! Not a task that you have assigned for yourself! Once you complete the task, He would honor you and bless you! You and your generation!
Today’s message is very short! It is a piece to encourage you and remind you of your identity in Christ! You are blessed! You are anointed! You are a child of God! Embrace it! Live it! Love it! Many people are not appreciative of God’s Love, Grace and Mercy upon our lives! Do not take it for granted. Choose God always and He will establish your plans! Anointed child of God go forth and complete your task! God bless!

Dear Lord,
I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.
Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;
Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.
Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.
